Company profile

As a producer and trader of oleochemical ingredients, Mosselman offers a wide range of vegetable or animal oils and fats as well as the deriving products such as fatty acids, fatty acid esters, fatty alcohols, ethoxylates and waxes.

Versatile applications are obtained thanks to a wide range of functional categories such as lubricants, rheology modifiers, tensides, emulsifiers, solvents, carriers, emollients, bodying agents, etc…

As a consequence, our customers belong to most various manufacturing sectors such as lubricants, detergency, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, inks & coatings, food & feed, candles, water treatment, etc…

Mosselman also offers toll manufacturing facilities such as esterification, flaking, pastillation, blending, drumming as well as lab & pilot productions.

Founded in Belgium in 1829, Mosselman is a family owned medium size company. We are selling about 600 products in more than 60 countries for a total volume of about 25.000 t per year. A high flexibility in the product range, the packaging and logistics is part of the added value which is appreciated by our customers.

Our certifications

QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM – ISO 9001:2015
As quality is one of Mosselman‘s most important priorities, our site is certified according to ISO 9001:2015 standard.
Our certification is issued by PME Cert SA and the scope covers the development, production and sales of chemical products.
Our certificate is available in the section “documents” of our website.

FEED CERTIFICATION: Feed Chain Alliance (FCA)
Feed Chain Alliance (FCA) certification is issued by Vinçotte NV.
Our certificate covers the production and the trading of feed materials and additives.
Of course, we complies with Regulation (EU) 183/2005 as Feed registered company.

FOOD AUTHORIZATION
Mosselman is registered with the Belgian health authorities (Federal Agency for the Safety of the Food Chain – FASFC) and concerns the production and the sales of specific feed and food products.

RSPO
Mosselman is RSPO member (9-1326-15-000-00) as its suppliers of palm oil derivate products. However, our products are not RSPO certified unless specifically requested. Mass balance RSPO certification is available depending on the product and requested annual volumes.
Our certificate is available on the RSPO website as Supply Chain Certificate Holder.

ORGANIC
Organic certification is provided by Certisys SPRL for vegetable oils, glycerin, carnauba wax and beeswax.
The scope includes the processing, importation and distribution of organic products.

KOSHER
Kosher certification is issued by OK Kosher or EK Kosher. This certification is provided on request and depends on the volumes needed and expected quality of the product.

HALAL
Halal certification is performed by European Islamic Halal certification (E.I.H.C.). This certification is provided on request and depends on the volumes needed and expected quality of the product.
